There is one food that I recognize as the food that has ultimately sustained me as I have been at college. That one single food can be contributed to: pancakes. For some reason, when I was little, I refused to eat them (I think it was because my brothers complained about them all the time and claimed that they didn't like them either. Yes, brothers have indeed influenced my likes and dislikes. I am only beginning to unravel their influence so that I can actually discover what I actually like. Some of the others include: Clam Chowder, peeled Grapefruit, dried fruits [except raisins- gross], tomatoes, musicals, plays etc.....), anyway I am pleased to say that I am growing up and I do, indeed, love pancakes.... a lot.... like a lot a lot. Anytime I want a quick, satisfying meal, I turn to pancakes. I've gotten into the bad habit of putting chocolate chips on my pancakes, which makes it sweet enough not to use syrup. Big ones, small ones, ones kind of shaped like mickey mouse- I love them all. And defiantly not just for breakfast. After going through 2 little bags of pancake mix I determined I was ready to step it up. I purchased a 10 pound bag of mix to get through. I have really loved that bag and have come to appreciate it more and more as the days go on. Here's to you pancakes. Thanks for helping me survive college.
