Oh, well I am not married, but I recently (ok so like a month and a half
ago) was able to go to Seattle Washington to be a part of my brother's
wedding. He married the most wonderful woman I could have ever asked
for. This woman was my roommate at BYU- Idaho. Claire and I met in
September for the fall semester and became fast friends. She was loud,
fun and extremely kind. I couldn't have asked for a better roommate.
Through a series of events and occurrences, I discovered a mutual liking
between my brother and roommate. Surprisingly enough, I didn't find it super awkward and pretty much put my stamp of approval on the
progressing relationship. I've heard a thousand times two roommates conspiring to marry each other's brothers so that they could be sisters. How often does that really happen? Like never! But it happened to ME! I am SO LUCKY! (Although according to them, they would have met eventually anyway and
fallen in love by themselves..... as if. They need me :D ) I got a huge earful on both sides of the
relationship, which made it really fun. They were engaged in January and
had planned their wedding for April 20th in Seattle, where she is from.
Claire's family threw out the welcome mat for our crazy family and
welcomed us into their home and family with open arms. It was truly a
pleasure to get to know the family.

Unsurprisingly- it rained. But it was such a fantastic day full of good times and amazing relatives. The reception was so beautiful! (I helped make the floral arrangements!) and loads of fun.
The next day we were going to head back home, but first we wanted to see some of the sights in Seattle. We decided to check out the famous Seattle fish market. It was a blast! Claire's dad drove us around the city. He was the best tour guide anyone could have ever asked for. Here's some of the pictures from the event of crazy farmers spending time in the center of Seattle.

This was once an average wall. Now it is famous because people put their gum on the wall. It is known as the "gum wall". Original Right? |
